Emily McLeod

Emily graduated from Saint Louis University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Following her graduation, she moved to South Carolina to start her job for AmeriCorp’s Volunteers in Service to America at the Spartanburg Housing Authority. She met her husband through the AmeriCorps program and has remained in Spartanburg since.

Feeling unsure about her career path, Emily began looking at jobs in the legal field after encouragement from her friends and family. After deciding to pursue a paralegal career, she enrolled at Greenville Technical College in their Paralegal Studies program where she graduated with honors.

Emily is an avid supporter of civic and community engagement. She is a graduate of the Citizen’s Academy and Public Safety Citizen’s Academy through the city of Spartanburg, as well as the Grassroots Leadership Development Institute.

In her spare time, Emily enjoys traveling with her husband, attending concerts, and caring for her Russian tortoise named Appa.

Emily is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Thompson Dove Law Group team! She is eager to continue growing in the areas of adoption, assisted reproduction, and surrogacy in order to best serve expectant parents and growing families.
