Strawberry Festival
When: May 1 and 2
Where: Walter Elisha Park, Fort Mill, SC
What: For Mill’s signature salute to spring! This event was selected as South Carolina’s Event of the Year in 2011, and it’s picking up steam. Many events will be held, leading up to the event: car show, golf tournament, pageant, Pick-n-Flick, and a pancake breakfast. Bring the whole family to the festival and participate in the food and fun!

Greer Family Festival
When: Friday, May 1st from 6PM-10PM & Saturday, May 2nd from 10AM-10PM
Where: Greer City Park
What: The annual, Pelham Medical Center Greer Family Fest prides itself on being the Upstate’s favorite family festival. The two-day event features live music, KidZone, Food Court, and over 150 vendors throughout. Great food, rides, activities and more!

North Charleston Arts Festival
When: Saturday, May 2nd from 10AM-4PM & Sunday, May 3rd from 2PM-5PM
Where: Charleston Area Convention Center Complex & Performing Arts Center Complex
What: The 33rd Annual North Charleston Arts Festival is a nine day event, running from May 1-9, with the main event taking place May 2 and 3. This festival offers many free as well as ticked events all over the city, giving participants the opportunity to enjoy local, regional, and national artists presenting over 200 performances, exhibits and activities in the areas of performing, visual, media, and literary arts.
