Cindi is a long-time friend of the firm as she was previously a Supervisor of Family Court and Deputy Clerk of Family Court at the Spartanburg County Courthouse for 12 years. During her time with the courthouse, Cindi worked closely with attorneys, judges, and pro se litigants. Some of her duties included writing court orders, scheduling hearings, and overseeing the day to day operations of the family court.
With a knowledge and understanding of the family court system, Cindi joined James Fletcher Thompson, LLC as a paralegal in May of 2016. Since joining the firm, Cindi has gained a strong understanding of adoption law and enjoys helping our current and prospective clients throughout the adoption process by coordinating with state offices for Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children, coordinating of guardian ad litem services, scheduling of hearings and processing requests for birth certificates.
You can read more of Cindi’s professional bio here, but today we wanted to share more of her heart and what she brings to our team each day.
